Description
Michael has been incapacitated for the last six years due to extensive surgeries and intestinal complications and is unable to walk. Throughout this challenging period, his wife has been his primary caregiver, which has placed a considerable strain on her and their four young daughters. They are facing a significant upcoming surgery that will require another lengthy hospital stay, during which his wife will be unable to work and earn an income because of her caregiving responsibilities.
Despite efforts, Michael’s lawyers were unable to secure Social Security Income (SSI) for him, and the VA cannot provide assistance because his condition is not related to military service. He is now reaching out for help to ensure that his family can cover their rent and bills while he is in the hospital. This situation has been incredibly stressful for him as he is unable to contribute to his family’s financial stability. The added worry of potential homelessness further hinders his ability to focus on his recovery.
Any funds received will be used to cover their rent and essential bills. Michael expresses his heartfelt gratitude to those who contribute.
