If you pay any attention to the custom gun world, you know that themed jobs are a huge part of the industry. And Star Wars Cerakote is just about one of the most popular themes out there. From Boba Fett and Mandalorian builds, to R2-D2, to full-on Beskar-inspired finishes, there have been all sorts of crazy jobs done over the years. Blown Deadline was one of the first shops to really popularize and elevate that whole style (and they’re still laying it down), and since then a lot of other shops have stepped up with some absolutely killer work. Ourselves included.
There’s just something about Star Wars Cerakote themes that work so well on firearms. The color palettes are bold, and the designs can range from subtle nods to full-blown showpieces and lend themselves perfectly to Cerakote. Whether it’s a weathered, battle-worn look or a cleaner, more refined finish, to a fully Beskar steel damascus look, there’s a ton of room to get creative.
I don’t know if it’s because the guns just look that good, or if there are really that many Star Wars fans out there (probably both), but these are easily some of the most requested jobs we see come through the shop. We’ve done everything from complete builds to smaller accent pieces, and they never get old to work on.
